Amelia'a First Birthday

 Happy first birthday to my baby!!! I can't believe how quickly a year flew by.  It's been a joy having her in our family and getting to know her personality.  A few things about who she is at one:
*Happy pretty much ALL of the time. :)
*Things that make her NOT happy are diaper changes, cheerios, too much lovin' from sister(s), her car seat, and having to go to bed.  Other than that, happy as a clam.
*She adores anything soft and squishy, particularly her elephant blankie and stuffed animals.
*Words she says: mom, dad, no-no, brother (pronounced 'bud-er'), dog (do-dog), and yum ('num).
*She welcomes taking medicine like it's candy - a welcome change from her siblings!
*She loves exploring the house, solo style - it's her favorite thing to do when she can slip away and get into something...thankfully Mom's not too far behind or we'd have big problems!
*She enjoys outings...once she gets to leave the car seat.  While out she loves to blow kisses to total strangers...which of course solicits lots of attention from the older crowd. :)
*She is a full blown walker...a talent she loves to practice any chance she gets.
*She has her two bottom front teeth...and is working on her top front left one.  That should make for some fun pics! :)
*Her favorite food is pretty much all of it...with the exception of Cheerios. For some reason, she hates 'em.

The past year has been a blast.  Happy birthday beautiful baby...can't wait to see what the next year holds!!!
