Ellie does. 50 of them, to be exact. Her grade had a button competition to see which class could count up the most buttons on their clothing throughout the week. Thursday, she came home begging me to help her find a shirt that had a ton of buttons on it, so that their class could win the competition. We couldn't find one that would fit [her] bill, so this is what we came up with...a lot cuter than I had anticipated it being! Unfortunately, they didn't win, but she had fun wearing it anyway! Oh, and yes, sewing that many buttons on by hand is not for the faint of heart!
Well, it's cute as a button. (I could not help myself!)
