While cuddling with the little girls on the couch the other night: Sydney: poking my protuding belly "You're gettin' chubby Mom" Paige: "Yeah, chubby!" adding her own poke. Me: Lip jutting out in mock sadness "Don't call me chubby...Never call a girl chubby!" Syd: "It's all the baby's fault!" Paige: With TRUE quivering lip now "But you guys used to call me chubby all the time!!!" Dang it...How do you explain to a 4 yr old the difference between adorable baby chub and grown up not-so-adorable chub??? With hugs. *** Lots of hugs *** Angie :)
