Paige's 4th Birthday

This little spunky girl of mine turned 4 on the 6th.. For the weeks leading up to her day, every morning she would ask "how many more sleeps"?  :)  We received a package in the mail from G & G Hallberg on Saturday, which only heightened the suspense for Paige.  So you can imagine her excitement on her big day, when she got to open all of her packages and enjoy the spoils...her favorites being the toy microwave from said grandparents, and her little tikes car.
We went down to Provo to have lunch with Daddy.  She was doted on by all of dad's coworkers, and she got to have whatever she wanted for lunch...which was Cafe Rio...because you get a strawberry with the quesadilla.  Of course.  After lunch, we spent the afternoon preparing for a little party with her preschool class the next day.  When dinner came, all she wanted was her absolute favorite, spaghetti...but she wanted to be sung to at a restaurant.  How do you say no to that?? :) Of course that meant we needed to go to Spaghetti Factory.  We had to take some candids since all were so happy that night...
Awww, they like each other!
Literally, that's the best I got of this one...sigh.
Sooo happy. :)
We really enjoyed our quiet day with our quiet girl.  It was so much fun to have a little party the next day with her classmates, complete with a pinata, at 10 in the morning. Yeah. :)  Thanks to all of their parents for going along with the craziness.

Paige loves to play make believe.  If there's anything she can pretend, she's all over that. Her favorite food, as mentioned, is spaghetti.  Seriously.  She won't eat anything these days, except that.  Her favorite dessert is rainbow sherbet.  She absolutely loves to wear skirts...if she can work it into the rotation, she'll wear one every day.  Her favorite color is pink...of course.  She asks regularly if we can go to the mall...which we don't have occasion to do often, so that makes me laugh.  When I ask why she wants to go to the mall, her response is "to play on the coin toys and get a corn dog".  Funny girl.  When asked who her best friends are, it's "Syd.  Kimmie.  Syd.  Ellyit.  Syd."  I think she kind of loves her sister. :)  You know some of you letters, especially 'P', and are working on copying what you see in print.  Quite often, you'll bring me something that you have copied to ask what it says.  (Today it was 'Colored Pencils'...impressive little girl!)  Paige, we adore you.  You keep things interesting around here with your dramatic personality.  But your giggle and smile are contagious.  I can't wait to see what the next year holds for you!!!
